STILL USING WINDOWS 7? TIME TO UPGRADE

Last past Tuesday, (1/7/19), Microsoft ended support for Windows 7. Windows 7 had a good run, the operating system was supported for 10 years meeting the commitment by Microsoft.

Windows 7 End of Support Release by Microsoft:

Many feared migrating from Windows 7 but if you are still on Windows 7 now is the time to upgrade.

The real concern is that patches will no longer be developed and released for any new Windows 7 vulnerabilities that are discovered. This means that the more time passes from last Tuesday the more susceptible to malware and malicious attacks you Windows 7 computer is. So what to do?

I’ve had about an 80% success rate in still getting the Windows 10 upgrade direct from Microsoft at no additional cost saving the need to purchase a $100+ Windows 10 license. So, backing up your MyDocs, MyPics, etc. to install Windows 10 is a simple upgrade path.

Once your data is backed up and Windows 10 is installed, your data can be restored, patches applied, and any software can be re-installed from source.

I would love to help you with your Windows 10 upgrade. I’ve been performing this upgrade at the rate of a few a week for a while now. Give me a call.
